Bhagavad Gita 2.43 Chapter 2, Verse 43
कामात्मानः स्वर्गपरा जन्मकर्मफलप्रदाम् ।
क्रियाविशेषबहुलां भोगैश्वर्यगतिं प्रति ॥२.४३॥
kāmātmānaḥ svargaparā janmakarmaphalapradām
kriyāviśeṣabahulāṃ bhogaiśvaryagatiṃ prati
Meaning
Full of desires and holding heaven as the highest goal, they prescribe many rites for pleasure and power, which only lead to rebirth as the fruit of action.
